RepZeno ("we", "us", "our") is designed with absolute privacy and local-first architecture as core principles. We believe your fitness, nutrition, and biometric data belongs solely to you. This Privacy Policy outlines how we process, store, and protect your data across our services, including our premium subscription features.

2. Local-First Data Storage

By default, RepZeno operates on a "Zero Friction, Absolute Privacy" model. You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or set a password to use the core application. All of your personal data, including workout logs, body metrics, custom exercises, progress photos, and nutritional entries, are stored locally on your device within a secure on-device database. We do not transmit, mirror, or store your primary data on our servers. RepZeno does not support user accounts or personal profiles on its servers, and no health, fitness, or biometric data is ever collected, tracked, or stored by RepZeno developers.

3. AI Nutrition Hub & Cloud AI Analysis

RepZeno utilizes third-party cloud AI services to power the AI Nutrition Hub (including the "Meal Snap" and "Describe It" features). When you use these features:

The photos you capture and text descriptions you provide are transmitted securely to these AI services strictly for the purpose of nutritional analysis and macroeconomic breakdown.
We do not retain, store, or share these images or descriptions on any RepZeno servers.
Your data is processed ephemerally by the AI provider to return the analysis to your device, where the final logs are saved locally.

4. Subscriptions & Payment Processing

We offer premium features via "RepZeno Pro" subscriptions, processed through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and managed using an industry-standard subscription service. To manage your subscription securely:

Subscription Management: We use a secure service provider to validate and manage your subscription entitlement. They receive an anonymous App User ID to verify your purchase status. No personally identifiable information (PII) is shared with this service.
App Store Billing: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iOS). RepZeno does not have access to your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.

5. Google Drive Integration (Optional Backups)

RepZeno provides an optional backup feature using your personal Google Drive account. If you explicitly enable this feature:

The app creates and updates encrypted backup files directly within your Google Drive.
Sandboxed Access: RepZeno uses restricted scopes. It ONLY accesses the specific backup files it creates. It cannot read, view, modify, or delete any other files, photos, or documents in your Google Drive.
Your backup data remains entirely under your sovereign control.

6. Security & Device Verification

To protect our API services from abuse and ensure a secure environment, RepZeno uses industry-standard security verification services. This ensures that requests originate from a genuine, unmodified version of the RepZeno app on a trusted device. This process involves the exchange of anonymous device attestation tokens but does not collect or transmit personal user data.

7. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Because we do not collect your personal data, we cannot and do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purposes. RepZeno does not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or technologies. We encourage you to review this page occasionally. Your continued use of RepZeno after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Children's Privacy (Under 18)

RepZeno does not intentionally or knowingly collect, store, or process any personal data from individuals under 18 years of age (or children under 13 in relevant jurisdictions). Since the App operates on a local-first model, no user data—regardless of age—is collected on our servers. If you are under 18 years of age, you should use RepZeno only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

10. GDPR & DPDP 2023 Compliance & User Rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act 2023), you possess specific rights regarding your personal data. Because RepZeno stores all workouts, logs, and progress photos locally in your device's sandbox:

Right of Access, Erasure, and Correction: You maintain complete, absolute, and sovereign control over your data. You can access, edit, or permanently erase your data at any time by utilizing the Settings page within the app or by uninstalling the application. No data remains on our servers.
Stateless AI Processing: When using AI features, food descriptions or photos are processed statelessly and ephemerally, without being saved or linked to any profile.

11. Data Protection & Grievance Officer
